The Bridal, Beauty & Home Show also includes a full color event magazine full of in-depth wedding planning tips and ideas. Our diverse show staff helps to ensure harmony and works diligently to seek out fresh new ideas from around the world.
Ebony Ssali, founder and Executive Event Director, was a quick study as a lead consultant in the nation’s largest bridal retailer. During her tenure, she served over one thousand brides and families with care and concern, staffed many trade shows, and sampled many more as a wedding coordinator.
“I knew something was missing. While great style and grace was being added to the general bridal market, no bridal shows spoke specifically to the bride of color, whether the rich, deep family tradition of the African-American bride, the collective rituals of the Latina bride, or the peaceful, but soul-stirring traditions of the Asian bride. And that’s only the beginning.”
“When you look at our world and globalization, you realize that we are all one human family, and marriage continues that tradition. Marriage shouldn’t be a time to lose your heritage, but embolden it,” says Ssali. “There was nothing that brought all of that to one place. Now it’s here.”
